Kindergarten Overview:

Kindergarten is where students take their first big steps as confident learners. This important year lays the foundation for future success by immersing children in all core subject areas through a balance of structure and creativity.

Reading

Our strong, structured literacy program aligned with the NYC Reads initiative helps every student reach their reading potential using Really Great Reading, Heggerty, and Into Reading.

Math

• Students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills through Illustrative Math.
• They learn to read simple texts, write sentences, understand numbers, and participate in meaningful routines.
